This brilliant initiative shows just how important it is that people in everyday settings know how to recognise concerns and where to go for support. At Findaway, we support anyone worried about someone experiencing domestic abuse, helping you understand the signs and explore options for support

Sometimes the hardest step in domestic abuse is telling someone. You don’t need perfect words, just listen without judgement. ✅ “I’m glad you told me.” ❎ “Why don’t you just leave?” Worried about someone? 📞 0300 140 0061

Our bus stop campaign has ended, but the conversation shouldn't. It was created to help people in Sunderland recognise the signs of domestic abuse. Awareness can be the first step toward someone getting support. Thank you to everyone who shared, and engage with the campaign.

Wonderful to be at the launch of #Sunderland's 10yr Strategy to end #DA & #VAWG. An ambitious, mission-led approach with community & prevention key. It was an honour to present Findaway alongside so many brilliant speakers. Lots to think about with the team @wearsidewin.bsky.social & lots to do!
