Penelope felt a warmth spread through her body as he pressed his lips to her settling into the core of her body. Her hand came to rest on her lower stomach as she slowly pulled away her eyes wide. "I... thank you, Hermes." She stared at the god for a moment. "Am I going to regret this?"

Penelope was silent for a few moments before she let go of the god's finger lowering her hand and her eyes from him. She thought about it and then thought about her conversation with Odysseus previously and how excited he had been before reality had come back. "Yes... we have a deal, Lord Hermes."

"Because I want Odysseus to be able to spend time raising his child. I want him to be able to experience those firsts he never got with Telemachus." She bit her lips. "After 12 you may take our child for longer periods of time.."

"One day at maximum until they are 12... and no days at all until they are weaned. But you are welcome anytime during that time." She reaches out daringly grasping the gods finger looking up directly into his eyes.

She was beginning to grow dizzy following him. "I feel as though there is a but coming along with this offer of your, Lord Hermes...."

She turned trying to follow him at all times. It was not as if she did not trust the god, but she knew he must have an angle. "Passion between Odysseus and I are high, and I would love to give TeleMACHUS a sibling, but my body is older now. I am not sure I could even conceive."

Her eyes widen upon seeing the god. She bows her head in respect before answering. "It is Telemachus, Lord Hermes... and I am sad to say I cannot give him what he desires."

⚔️ @hauntedhero.bsky.social 💓 It was the middle of the night. Penelope awoke from a nightmare. Sitting up she shuddered in the cool night air and looked to the bedside which she found empty. Her heart clutched in her chest and she rose from the bed quickly. "Where is he?" Was he still gone?-

She smiled at her son. "Get the fire going, I will start on the pastry."

Once in the kitchens she began to survey what they had on hand. She rubbed her chin before gathering things. "What about Koptoplakous?"

"Meet me in the kitchens. We will make him something sweet. A taste of home."

She grinned. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. Would you like to help me?"

She gently sweeps her hand over her son's hair. "We should do something for him."

He finds comfort in us. He was trying to return to you as well, my darling boy.

Neither can I. I imagine he has horrors he sees every night when he closes his eyes.

He says he has things to tell me... but he needs time to tell me.

I am trying my best... He just went through so much. And he will not speak to me about most of it. He has kept me in the dark.

I am sure there will be. Things will be alright, I know they will be. Your father will be alright soon I am sure.

It is hard... after everything that has happened. To get a good nights sleep is a blessing.

He has his odd quirks, but that is why we love him.

I am well, I slept most of the night, but spent some of the dark hour waiting for your father to return to bed.

I am so glad you are happy, my darling boy.
