I wonder if he was invited back

Oh, I just realized that it sounded like I was repelled by fiddling. I moved TO the bar with the music. I LOVE live music as long as I’m not trying to have a conversation!

I think I might prefer the fiddle, I always thought of bagpipes as like…an outdoors thing.

Mine was like, an hour away from rupturing. Caught it just time! That was a week before freshman year at SVA (very memorable and sore orientation week)

I heard fiddling so I had to move next door to Tap and Bottle. N/A cider because I’m driving 😎

Tas is done! Kincheloe is coming along. Kahn (God of Family and also general dwarfishness) and Kiryn (God of Balance, not Gandalf) are roughed out. I think I’ve lost the plot a little bit with how soft the shading is getting, but I love the texture so who cares.

On the plus side, laparoscopy is amazing! I’ve had the alternative (huge appendectomy incision!) and the recovery is so much easier. But yeah you need a few days come on.

Isn’t your diet pretty limited after that??

Mesquite pod cold brew and a snack for drawing at Exo! The mesquite flavor is really yummy.

I got possessed by the thought of seafoam @washy.works but like Serendipity

It’s a white plesiosaur with a bobbed haircut, and ear piercings. It’s drawn in the same style as the Steven Cosgrove “Serendipity” books

lol jealous. Tucson weather means we sleep with basically a huge towel for a blanket for most of the year

It’s fun raising my kids in a completely different region from my own childhood. My 5 year old calls underwear chonies! They love jamaica tea! I didn’t even know what that stuff was when I was little.

I’ve never tried making anything with a starter, though. I guess I was too busy during covid lockdowns for that particular craze

It’s soooo good! Im looking forward to my leftovers

Mostly because he (and my parents who are taking us all) wanted to wait longer but I couldn’t stand it anymore and told them

Last week l dropped the news on our kids that we’re taking them on a Disney cruise soon, and while they were losing their minds Charlie showed me this

They give you a spinal block, which is an instant and complete anesthetic that’s short acting (since a c-section takes like 20 minutes). An epidural is adjustable and meant to last like ten hours, but both of mine were c-secs so I never had one of those.

You’re actually awake! You get a huge shot in your spine and can’t feel anything below your ribs and then they scoop a baby out. The nurses took photos of the whole thing for me, it ruled (except for the part where it was a scary emergency, lol).

Charlie built a new computer and the cheapest graphics card he could find was a Frieren tie-in??? For some reason?? But the heat sinks cover up Frieren. I like the mimic box it came in.

It seems that after owning a rice cooker for over a decade I have completely lost the ability to make rice on the stove. I followed the instructions!! Why didn’t it work??

000

he really is a cute little dinosaur!!

000

charlie is a good husband because he will politely stand there and offer appropriate comments while I barrage him with how cool spider silk is (moth silk is also very cool!!)

Chugging along on this project, I like to jump around between drawings a lot. Tas, god of Music and Joy (who Charlie described as “he’s just Tasslehoff Burrfoot”) and Kincheloe, goddess of Justice, in progress!
