Siloed news is my guess. If one only watches faux news and doesn’t have an independent news source, they will have an entirely different view. I do find a lot of fast news clips on Bluesky, and without it, there’s a lot that would get missed bc mainstream is mostly bought now.

But who would benefit? Those who own a lot of real estate, certain stocks, gold, etc. could benefit from high inflation - not the people the $5000 bribe is aimed at (the $5000 would be negligible to these people). /8

- If the GOP did win both houses and #Trump somehow kept the promise, the effect on the economy would be disastrous. We saw the inflation caused by $1200 stimulus checks during the pandemic, and that was mitigated by the economy being suppressed by the pandemic. /3 #Trump #GOP
