And to think that was only like the third stupidest game of this NFL week.

Rousseau had been kept off the stat sheet all day ... and then blocks the FG in OT.

Now would be a really good time for a Rousseau strip-sack

5 yards after contact on the last Josh Allen run

Maybe, but I think some of it is scheme differences too. McDermott: lighter boxes, bad against run, but made secondary look better and avoided big plays. Leonhard: heavier boxes, better against run and decent pass rushes, but hangs secondary out to dry.

On the road as 3-point underdogs against the pre-season Super Bowl favorite Rams, the Bills lead by 6 on my TV, but are losing by 40 on my bluesky feed.

Someone on NFL Network today said that Fernando Mendoza looked kind of like a younger Kirk Cousins ... but slower.

re. the published clue for 43D: while YUL Brynner is indeed name-dropped in the published lyrics to "I Shall Be Free," that line is different in the version on Freewheelin'. Is he in any of the other released versions?

But with time synced HD video (which they already have) and the field markings to help register the exact camera position and orientation, it should be tractable.

It's a harder problem than in some other sports - e.g. tracking pitches in 3-D in baseball - because the cameras are panning, and there are lots of occlusions in the scene, including of the ball itself.

It should be possible to use photogrammetry to combine different camera angles and build up a 3-D model of where exactly the football is at key points in a play, in order to answer questions like whether it passed the first down marker before crossing out of bounds or the knee touching.

Currently watching games with 28 and 24 point margins in the 4th quarter. Though I'm not sure a Jets 10 - Browns 6 contest would really qualify as "better."

Now would be a good time for a Sabres power play goal.

Why would the IRS send a notice to someone they know is deceased (died in 2025) about changes to IRA contribution rules coming in 2027?

000

Surprised NE didn't use a TO there.

I have not seen Deone Walker on the field much for the Bills.

Bills yardage on 1st downs: 4, -4, -2, 5, -1 (average 0.4)

How the fuck does a center line up offsides?!

Just read that the union leader who got the billionaire wealth tax on the ballot here in California is originally from Buffalo. Bills by a billion (minus 5%) today.

Short walk across bridge to bart station and then a tunnel from bart station (outside gates) to bart lot. There will be lots of people around. And parking is free at most Bart stations on weekends (if not, pay at station inside gates).
