You can selectively turn off notifications for spam texts, so there’s no reason they can’t also do this for spam calls, they just don’t want to.

It’s classic Apple that I assumed this would be an easy fix, but NOPE, there is just no way to fix it. You have to either turn off all call notifications (including from your friends/family) or keep getting them from silenced spammers.

I have Silence Unknown Callers enabled, which is great. However, I still get banner notifications for each such call, which are annoying. Is there a way to opt out of banner notifications for silenced unknown callers while still getting banner / on-screen notifications for incoming calls for known callers?
