I grew up in Nova Scotia and we were always taught American spelling (z not s). Dunno if I have a particularly strong opinion on it as opposed to for example the ou vs o spellings in which case obviously ou is the only possible correct option.

Honestly no ill will towards the guy he came in as advertised and he's very affordable but he's clearly not what this iteration of the team needs and we should be able to get some sort of decent future asset for him based on his contract alone. Of course him playing and scoring would help tho...

The expected longevity of many of the most infamous of the terrible people of influence operating in our societies is generally substantially less than our own expected longevities? Also my kid wants to be a duck for Halloween. Those keep me going right now.

An almost 3 year old in a bright yellow duck costume and an almost 18 month old in a black shirt and pants with white skeleton bones printed on it sitting in the shade under a tree on green grass that's full of weeds cause who has time to take care of their damn lawn these days and also who cares with some sun shining in the background. The kids look happy as they're still young enough to be impervious to the realities of society and may they be an inspiration to us all.

Yeah I had been going pretty regularly since like 2014 or so to California on vacation and I remember back after Trump 1 and before Trump 2 I was in a grocery store and looking at things like "isnt this..... The same price in Canada.... But in Canadian dollars?" lol since then it's gotten way worse.

First Nations children are still waiting for safe schools, clean water, adequate housing and equitable services. Meanwhile, Canada somehow finds urgency when the “national interest” is pipelines, mines and major projects. Reconciliation has to mean more than wearing orange once a year. 🧡
