For all of his “51st State” rhetoric and the Maple Magats who love it people seem to forget that Canada would not be a “state” under any circumstance. Canada would be a territory with no voting rights. His Canada hatred isn’t puzzling when you realize his goal is to seize ALL of North America.

Trump’s rhetoric and Canada hatred is only escalating and it’s goddamn scary. Canada needs to declare a national security emergency immediately and start placing troops at the border. I fear that Trump’s next move will be sending US troops over our border by May. In fact, I’ll put money on that.

My son was trying to say “tyrannosaurus” but it came out sounding more like “tranosaurs”. The image that put in my head made me say: “The way the US is going lately they’ll probably soon make tranosaurs illegal too.” It’s bad joke, but sometimes you have to try to find humour in the bad things.

I’ve come around on this issue. I don’t think Canada should shut off the power we supply to the US. Slap a 25% export tax on it. Double it every month the tariffs remain. When everyone’s power bill suddenly doubles or triples you’ll see them wake up and take action.
