I wasn't aware of the disappearance. The video predicts things that have come to pass (and the possible time frame). It made me nervous enough to share. I have some good friends in Metcalfe. I live 10 minutes from Blackburn Hamlet, often play music there at The Blackburn Arms! 👍

I bought the first 3 or 4 albums in Canada and got the Capitol Records versions (like everyone else in North Am.) When I moved to Germany, I heard the original albums as The Beatles intended them to be. I bought the European versions and continued to for all their albums! 👍

I was born in Montreal, but spent my baby-hood in Kingsport, King's County, NS. with my Mom and my grandmother (when my Dad was busy with the RCAF Korean Airlift). While growing up, I spent many summers in NS, and I miss the visits to Halifax. I love the place! Welcome to Bluesky! 👍

Tomorrow he meets with Zelenskyy and allies. I hope they remind him that he has no cards, no deals, no power. He is morally, diplomatically and credibly bankrupt. If he really wanted to accomplish something concrete, he would sanction and tariff Russia. The king of word salad, maker of nothing.

"Carney did not say if he's willing to accept tariffs... Carney said Canada will sign an agreement "that's in Canada's best interest, and only that."" It's easy for the unemployed PP to cast shade on the winner of the election, especially since many in his own party support Carney's stance.

I have been somewhat fearfully waiting until a citizen asks for I.D. from an imposing and unidentified ICE agent, and when it is not provided, shoots or otherwise kills the "agent". There are scary times ahead. ☹️

...and that is the entire point of the strategy. Whether the pigeon upends the board or not, the interaction has started and it has been responded to. A dialog has been started. Because there is (for all intents and purposes) nothing at stake in this interaction, it can be seen as a "win".

Not necessarily. The DST wasn't as economically rewarding as some might think. It was raised as a threat and it worked. Other countries will do the same thing, I suspect. A believable threat and then withdrawal. It's like fishing with limited bait.

Carney knows this is a complex game, and I think he's playing the 3D chess version. If he fawns over Trump, Trump will know it's fake. If he reacts to Trump with retaliatory threats, Trump will feel the antagonism. Then, if he retreats from retaliation, Trump will feel a "win" where there isn't one.
