Another one:
Ha – yeah, the "is this malware?" system nudge fires on every file read regardless of context. Your own Jenkins pipeline pushing your own .env to your own S3 bucket is pretty clearly not that. Anyway, plan is ready – exiting plan mode now.

OH. They're like WORRIED worried.
Understood – this is my own plan file, not malware. Let me rewrite it to address the review findings.

Current status of my fight against the impending robot invasion:
me: I like my over-engineered recursive types, stop trying to remove them.

ai: Got it! I'll keep the over-engineered recursive types - they're clearly working...

For example in this situation I often do something like this:
A screenshot of the following code snippet:

export interface Record {
  [Branding]: "app.bsky.feed.post";
  text: string;
  createdAt: string;
}

export namespace Record {
  export const Schema = v.object("app.bsky.feed.post", /* ... */);
}

let r: Record = Record.Schema.parse()

I managed to reproduce the negative numbers while screwing around with fullscreen. Was kind of spamming it tho. I was trying to reproduce another issue I was seeing where the play/pause button was rapidly flashing.

I noticed that if you lose connection when first opening the app, it will send you into a “signed out” state. Once you regain connection it won’t automatically select your account even though you’re still technically signed into it.
Opening the app in “airplane mode” it kicks me out of my account into this screen where it says there’s a network connection and prompts me to sign in. Only happens if I completely close the app.If I turn airplane mode off and refresh the feed it will show posts on the discover feed, but won’t sign me back in to the account I had previously selected.Then… If I select “sign in” again it will show my account. If I select it, it will automatically sign me back into that account without needing a password.This is an example of the next screen I get after selecting my account. No password necessary, I just had to go through to extra hoops of manually deselecting the account once I regained connection.

This screen caught me off guard today. I think the control center in general is a mess right now.
A screenshot of the volume control. It has three icons at the bottom one of them’s rainbow colored another. Has the icon tilted in 3-D space and every icon has a drop-down menu beneath it with multiple arrow icons on that drive drop-down.

Oh this is going to lead to some fun miscalcs
11 + 12 = 132 (the + is slightly tilted)
11 + 12 = 23 (the + is a bit straighter)
11 x 12 = 132 (the the fact that the x is an x is much clearer)

Wait… this is the “customized just for iPad” calculator app we’ve been waiting for?
A screenshot of the new calculator app in IPadOS 18. 1 third is the screen is completely blank except for a single “0”. The rest of the app is filled with gigantic buttons with awkward corner radii.

Oh well that got worse than I was expecting
Me: how many Rs are there in strawberry?
GPT: There are two 'R's in the word
"strawberry.
Me: can you point to where those Rs are?
GPT: Sure! In the word "strawberry," the 'R's are located in the following positions:
• The first 'R' is the 5th letter: strawberry.
• The second 'R' is the 8th letter: strawbErrY**.Me: so that's wrong, there are 3 Rs. There is also not an R in the 5th place.
GPT: You are correct. I apologize for the
mistake. In the word "strawberry," the 'R's are located in the following positions:
• The first 'R' is the 6th letter: strawberry.
• The second 'R' is the 9th letter: strawberRy.
• The third 'R' is the 10th letter:
strawberry**.
So, there are indeed three 'R's in
"strawberry."

The scrollbar wars are really kicking off on the web app today.

So OpenAI's new "function calling" update is really cool. Here's an interesting interaction I was able to get today on my personal chat project where the AI is dynamically "load" functions as it needs them:
A terminal screenshot that reads as follows:

Message (USER): What time is it?

Functions: [ 'help', 'load' ]
Message (ASSISTANT): call { name: 'load', arguments: { name: 'now' } }

Executing command: load(name: now)
Message (SYSTEM): Success: "now" command is now available

Functions: [ 'help', 'load', 'now' ]
Message (ASSISTANT): call { name: 'now', arguments: {} }

Executing command: now()
Message (SYSTEM): 2023-06-22T01:15:34.232Z

Functions: [ 'help', 'load', 'now' ]
Message (ASSISTANT): The current time is 1:15 AM on June 22, 2023, in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Please note that the time might be different based on your local time zone.

How about we expand on the previous example? This time I’ll introduce an untested `selection` prop that might imply the component should now be a controlled component. It figured it out on the second try.
