Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay an estimated $5.5 billion to settle lawsuits from people claiming that its baby powder and other talc products caused ovarian cancer. In 2012, Weave and the Campaign for Safer Cosmetics convinced J&J to remove talc from products after years of campaigning.

The Supreme Court got it wrong today. Their decision to gut Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act will leave Black voters and other voters of color even more vulnerable to attacks on our freedom to vote and be represented fairly. Our fight for our democracy is not over.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we celebrate Dolores Huerta. Huerta fought to protect farmworkers from dangerous pesticide exposure. She also helped lead the historic 1965 Delano grape strike, which pushed California to enact disability insurance for farmworkers affected by toxic chemicals.
