An update to address satellite processing delays was put into production last night. The data is now available 20s-40s after it reaches the NWS datastore. This improves upon minute-long delays previously seen in @radarscope.app, GREarth.co and our standard satellite data feeds due to queue backlog.

NWS to begin disseminating Canadian weather radar data via the Satellite Broadcast Network (SBN) / NOAAPORT beginning December 9, 2024. Only 23 of the 31 radars will be included to reduce the impact and is focused on those adjacent to the United States. #wxbluesky
