BEYOND Happy for the Valks. Time to go clobber the Dream!

You can never count them out. There is no reliable game plan for a team that never slows down and never shuts off.

Random thoughts on basketball tonight. 1. The Liberty should have kept Betnijah. We miss her and it showed. 2. Jordin Canada is going to be finals MVP if the Dream win. 3. The Aces have more top level talent than GS but GS play like their lives depend on it, all day every day. And it matters.

Trilogy of Terror. Followed the next year by Magic (starring anthoy hopkins)

The Valks remind me of the Knicks. The whole is so much bigger than the sum of its parts

I am rooting for the Liberty. They are my team, and I want them to win, but I want them to win against Atlanta’s full strength, and I want Allisha back too

Before the traditional complaining about officiating starts, its worth mentioning that anyone who was a top player at UCONN knows how to draw fouls.

Yep and problems that make people rich don’t get solved

010

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Yep. Its genuinely so unambiguously terrible that i cant believe its being allowed to happen

The integration of gambling and sports is a disaster. Its going to ruin lives and sports

The Jets almost look like a professional football team. That can’t last, though. Signed, a lifelong Jets fan.

Im a Liberty fan. I do think it would be fun if Golden State won, and not impossible. I only don't really want the Dream. I don't root for Atlanta teams.

There is a recoking coming with all this gambling .. its going to get ugly eventualy

Pop on over to womens basketball fandom and try to have a sane nuanced conversation about Caitlin Clark

SAME! I'm a NY Liberty girl but that game was amazing and I found myself rooting hard for Dallas.

Im still wound up from last night's Wings/Valks game. When Arike is on, there is no one like her.

130

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I will never understand the tendency people have to immediately go to "get rid of Arike" if she has an even slightly off game. She is a star.

I really like Aziaha James. She's fun to watch.

I love watching Vets show up and out in the playoffs. Alysha clark was who Dallas needed her to be

I DONT WANT TO EVER HEAR ARIKE OGUNBOWALE SLANDER AGAIN. I'VE BEEN ON YOUR SIDE GIRL ALL THIS TIME. I KNEW WHO YOU WERE, WHO YOU'VE BEEN, AND WHO YOU ALWAYS WILL BE

Fouling out in OT is not as bad i don't think.

These are the same people who were trying to retire Stewie last year and Phee this year. Who wrote off every player that shone all year for one bad game. Its ridiculous.

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

She's not always on but when she's on JJ is magical

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Phee just needs to get back to full strength and build some chemistry with Miles.

040

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I am a total Liberty fan and I think GSV are going to take the title.

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

JJ has telescoping arms i think

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Im a Liberty fan but I do like both these teams. I think Golden State is going to end up taking it all tho

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

if i were Cheryl I think i'd just stand there during the break and repeat "do not let Han get to that spot"

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

because the first quarter is always deceptively short

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I am having a hard time adjusting to Nia Brody's name change. This is not something that comes up so much in men's sports.

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I don't know what it is with WNBA fans not getting that ppl coming back from serious injury take time to find their feet. And build chemistry. They are all too willing to write off the literal best players on earth for not adjusting instantly. They did this to Stewie last year, this year its Phee

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I don't really care what happens in the Aces/Fever series. Im team underdog on the other two games. I want the Wings and Mystics to surprise everyone

010

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

She has been a fun surprise in an uneven Liberty season.

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Even if they don't win this series, they've modeled how to guard Miles for whomever the Lynx play next.

100

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

The W-L records of the top 8 teams were not so far apart from one another as compared to the bottom teams so thats less surprising than it might have been.

100

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Speaking as a hardcore Liberty fan, They follow up every game that they appear unbeatable in with an utter crash. So if they win today, the lynx will win tuesday

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Where has this Fiebich been all season?

000

Weaselrina Amy @weaselrina.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Cue the whining about 2024 game 5 when nobody seems to want to acknowledge that the refs also decided game 4. There never should have been a game 5
