Alrighty, PS5 is fine and horizontally wall mounted. If you've got one and have been keeping it vertical as advertised, um, don't. The liquid metal cooling the APU chip can slowly pool at the bottom over time, resulting in a chronically overheating bare spot. Ask me how I know. 🙃

A photo of a classic PS5 with disc drive mounted horizontally on a wall. Assorted Mass Effect collectibles and a gaming headset are also visible.

PS5 has abruptly decided to give me overheating warnings that might be a symptom of keeping it vertical for the last four years. 😬 Have it horizontal and am doing careful stress testing with Date Everything. I forgot how delightfully unhinged this game is. 😆

A screenshot from the game Date Everything showing Artt, depicted as a muscular classical styled marble statue with glasses. A caption is on screen that reads "With great pleasure, you naughty little sprite."

Yes I asked him to Daddy me. This PS5 overheating thing is stressful and I needed some Keythe Farley (Thane's voice actor) comfort. 😜

Ohhh thank goodness after 15 days Agung actually went back underwater for a day. 😅 I was getting concerned that marrying him landlocked him which is just not cool from a roleplaying perspective. 🧜‍♂️ #CoralIsland

Photos from the chaos of the other day. First is Miso celebrating the return of power and more importantly AC. Second is both cats (all black is Kasumi) hunkered down in the basement with me a half hour later thanks to a tornado warning. They were a lil worried by the noises outside. 😅

A long haired tuxedo cat on his back in front of a vent looking adorable.

Been processing a lot of heavy things this week (objectively fine, this is all internal and reframing my life through an AuDHD lens) and it's making me want to boot up a new Veilguard run. Playing Ruya is like playing a warm hug poised to shield bash whatever's upsetting you. 💜 #DATV

I keep thinking... What if... 🤔 Don't get me wrong, Emmrich and his romance are wonderful, but age gap stuff isn't my thing and headcanon can only take me so far. Literally only tried because I read it was the best in the game. But the more I think about it, the more these two just *work*. 💜

A new player has entered the arena. Out of date wikis failed me; Agung is romanceable as of 1.3! And after hanging out twice with the shark man and being lectured about animal husbandry and how much he hates humans, I'm fairly certain he wasn't worth my effort. 😅 Agung, though... 😏

Playing Coral Island again with the goal of romancing Semeru, who I can't help but think of as Sea Fenris. Still playing ME3 too, but I'm in the sadness porn part of the game (did Thane's memorial last night and bawled my eyes out) and Coral Island is a great counterpoint to the sad. ❤️‍🩹

I played DA: Origins first and started ME full of scepticism due to the chip on my shoulder for how much more merch there was for ME vs Dragon Age at the time. My canon Hero of Ferelden is Elaryn. I named my Shepard Lauren as the modern equivalent. I'm clever like that. 😜 #MassEffect #FemShep

Thane: And that's the story of why my wife died. Shepard: That's hot. Seriously, the wording of this kept me from romancing Thane for *years* because it felt so inappropriate for the situation, especially for paragon Shepard. It's the kind of shit you put in as a joke and then reword later. (1/2)

Back in ME2. Did Horizon last night and was miffed as usual, but not for the reason you're thinking. Would it have really cost that much more to write character-specific dialogue? Plus the laziness of a romanced Kaidan/Ash acting almost exactly the same as just a former squad member. (1/2)

And just for shits and giggles, here's Marian through the years. I've gotta figure out how to get her nostrils in Veilguard. 😋

Three character creator portraits of the same woman, Marian Trevelyan. The first shows her in the years leading up to Inquisition, around age 34. She has dark ginger-gold hair pulled up. The second portait shows her at the start of Inquisition, age 38. Her long hair has been cut very short with an undercut and is now grey from the stress of being an Apostate and losing her beloved while on the run. Her eyebrows are less groomed and there's a gap in the left one (visual left, actually her right) where a scar runs through it. A small scar is below that same eye, and another large, jagged scar is on the cheek on that same side. Her nose shows evidence of being broken. The texture of her skin is rough compared to the first portait. The third portait is her during the events of Veilguard, ten years later. She's back to long hair pulled up, though it remains grey, and her scars are different from the first two images due to the limitations of the Veilguard character creator.

Added some late stage headcanon for Marian where she's been carrying the shield of her Templar beloved since escaping the fall of Ostwick with him and then losing him to a fight with rebel Templars a month later. 💔 "My Lover's Phylactery" is the tipping point for her to finally set it down. ❤️‍🩹

Made Sanshee Fenris some romance accessories. No I will not post a closeup of the Amell crest because it looks awful lmao, painted it using toothpicks and eyeshadow after cutting out the foam with a dull utility knife, but at a glance it gives me the little dopamine hit I was after 🥰.

A photo of the Fenris plushie made by Sanshee. It has been slightly modified to include a red cloth around the right arm and a small shield-shaped crest on his left hip. Both are a reference to the romance arc between Fenris and Hawke in Dragon Age 2.

Marian is here to pose for you and she's gonna like it. 😜

Inquisitor Marian Trevelyan from Dragon Age Inquisition. Her staff is glitching through her shoulder a little but otherwise it's a great pose, very formidable. 😋

Less glitched Marian. She's human, in her late 30s, with short grey hair with an undercut. She has a scar through her right eyebrow and beneath her right eye. She's wearing heavier armour than she should be able to as a mage but Armour of the Dragon Hunter is for everyone. 😜
