A heads up about The WBUR Festival's street fair today:
Hi Festivalgoers,
The news moves fast, and this weekend is no exception. We have an update to our earlier message: The street fair isn't cancelled — it's moving indoors!
We’re bringing the street fair fun inside to the Festival Hub at 808 Commonwealth Ave. A couple of notes: We won't have the Kids Zone or Found vintage market this year due to the space constraints indoors. But you'll still get that cozy, fun vibe with live music and local vendors from noon to 6 p.m.
Thanks for your flexibility and understanding. We're excited to see you today!
See you soon,
Andrea O'Meara

Don't let Halloween distract you from your civic duties! Early voting in Boston ends on Friday, Oct. 31. Election Day is right around the corner.

Here's Jiayu Liang buried in the snow. She was trying to get to a college interview and had to cross one main road to meet at a Starbucks, but the snowbanks were so high she couldn't even see the crosswalk button to press.

Trump promised dozens of actions on immigration on Day 1. Here's a few of his promises: www.wbur.org/npr/g-s1-436...
Here are some of his promises:
Declare a national emergency, which would unlock federal funding and other authorities to help him carry out plans to secure the border
Restart construction of a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border
Start the work of ending birthright citizenship, though Trump also admitted that this kind of change requires a constitutional amendment
Reinstate the 'Remain in Mexico' policy, also known as the Migrant Protection Protocol, which would require certain asylum seekers to wait in Mexico until their court hearing dates in the U.S. before entering
Launch large-scale deportation operations
Restore travel bans and limit refugee admissions and resettlements
Bring back Title 42, a public health order from Trump's first term that allows immigration authorities to expel and prevent asylum seekers from entering the U.S.
