Bill B @wbudde.bsky.social · 17/06/2026Look, I get it. We all have our priorities. I want workers to be compensated for the time, effort, and craftsmanship they apply to produce a final product, without artificial limitation. You prefer owners are guaranteed to keep a specified % of revenue to increase profits. You do you, I guess. 100
Bill B @wbudde.bsky.social · 17/06/2026If you place a ceiling on how much money labor can make, you are artificially keeping labor pay down. Doesn't matter how you do the math or what you call it. Management comes up with fancy names and obfuscatory math for it to confuse people into arguing in management's favor. 100
Bill B @wbudde.bsky.social · 17/06/2026Placing a maximum ceiling on how much of the sport's revenue is allowed to be earned by the players is anti-labor and artificially keeps salaries lower. Doesn't matter what you call it or what kind of gymnastics you do with the checks, it's still the same. 100
Bill B @wbudde.bsky.social · 15/06/2026There is no functional difference between a "cap", which is the most that the players on the team can collectively make, and the percentage of revenue allocated to players, which is the most that the players can collectively make. 100
