And it kind of shows with how most games after 64 were pretty mediocre in both sales and reception. This franchise simply does not have relevance outside of porn anymore, Smash participation isn’t really a gauge for relevance either when Captain Falcon and Mr. Game and Watch are there.

Like, this franchise’s best days were in the SNES when it did something that was essentially impossible for the tech at the time and maybe 64. Everything after that is either a rehash of a previous game or the franchise having an identity crisis and not knowing what it wants to be.

I think it is kinda hilarious that chuds are getting up in arms about people claiming that gay porn (of Fox/Wolf/Falco) is what kept Star Fox relevant and even trying to make Krystal look more responsible for it as a counter-argument when the truth is Star Fox is now a mostly irrelevant franchise.

The Matrix protocol is made in such a way that you can host you host federated servers, and also encrypt your messages end-to-end with no key sharing with the host. That makes it impossible for whoever is hosting the server you are in to give stuff to the government, or spying into you.

Thing is that ultimately they are companies, companies need to be profit-driven, they will eventually cave to government requests and whatever gives them money. A solution like Element/Matrix does not because it is open-source and fully end-to-end encrypted.

I am gonna be honest, all of those are bad. They both are closed-source competitors which will eventually try to make a profit just like Discord did, and fall into the same pitfalls. Unless people move to something like Element the same problem will happen in 5-10 years again.

I concur that the SPD and CDU chancellors were to blame as well. But the much bigger issue is that the anti-nuclear agenda should never, never have been pushed forward by the Greens when they were part of those governments.

Tbqh, this is not an attempt to excuse people who support the AfD at all, but the Green party in Germany is FULL of shit. For one, their anti-nuclear stance in energy production is just completely illogical and out of place and has actively led to the country depending on Russian gas.
