"Post a perfect album from the '90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Alice in Chains." This one was a damn near perfect album, but it had sing-a-long-a-bility with every song. You load it up and listen to it 5 times and you'd have it stuck in your head for months. MONTHS! GREAT album.

AYYY, general great news here in OC! The threat of explosion of a toxic chemical tank is "eliminated", although the 40,000+ people evacuated may still need to be evacuated for a bit longer. The aerospace chemical company is about to get sued back to when life exited the ocean to walk on land, too.

Threat of massive O.C. explosion ‘eliminated’ but evacuations remain, officials say

The threat of a massive chemical explosion has been “eliminated,” fire officials said Monday.

Orange County Fire Authority officials said “the BLEVE is off the table,” referring to the potential of an explosion from a rupture in a vessel containing pressurized liquid.

My trans friends, chosen family, and loved ones will always, ALWAYS be held INFINITELY more highly in my heart than anyone that regards this president or those he appoints. HE & HIS are the only ones here hurting or planning on hurting Americans. Show out for your trans siblings, folks. It's needed.

(Screenshot of part of a Trump statement.)
In addition to cartels and Islamist terror groups, our national CT activities will also prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist. We will use all the tools constitutionally available to us to map them at home, identify their membership, map their ties to international organizations like Antifa, and use law enforcement tools to cripple them operationally before they can maim or kill the innocent. We will do the same with the state sponsors of such groups and those governments undertaking lethal plots on U.S. soil or against Americans anywhere.
Our new U.S. Counterterrorism Strategy is a return to common sense and Peace through Strength. As I said after our first successful counterterrorism mission, just days after I was sworn back in office – if you hurt Americans, or are planning to hurt Americans, "We Will Find You and We Will Kill You."

I had to even jump in when someone posted a really shitty opinion (probably ragebait in the end, but, well, i got enraged) -- but yeah, code is art just like art is art. Just like... culinary arts are arts.

floebro writes,
"Ok here's the thing tho... Yall complain about replacing artists with ai, right? Programming in a way is a form of art and you're still replacing a humans job with this too which was also the complaint about ai art Yall r just hypocritical about what u support and only care about the people u understand."

A.Countess replied:
"Artists complain for Humans leam by copying / prior work. I dont see artists paying every artist/estate of those they took inspiration from to become an artist, why should a machine? And artists are just mad because a machine does the same thing they do thousands of times faster and cheaper.artists, but $600 for a basic vtube model or stream background/overlay that took a few days is unjustifiable."

WayTooLateTV replies to A.Countess with "'sorry 'chefs' but $100 for a nice night out at a restaurant is unjustifiable when a nice warm blender full of SOYLENT exists'"

I have one tip of my own that I tell everyone that's just starting out-ish. And here's the comment on reddit I made about it a long time back, with alt-text because I'm not a barbarian. The reason I'm posting a pic is because it's far too big for a post here. But yeah, this is the biggest timesaver.

A Reddit comment in the DaVinciResolve subreddit from BigAngry, one year ago, with 67 karma, it reads:

"the greatest two keybinds i've ever been shown were to rebind 1 and 4 on your num row to be as follows. Go to DaVinci Resolve on the top menu bar next to file and edit, go to Keyboard Customization, select under the commands section and look for the following, and add the 1 and 4 keys to the appropriate keybinds, then save as a new config file.

1: Application -> Timeline -> Split Clip

4: Application -> Timeline -> Ripple Delete

This makes it so you can literally two-finger cuts and ripple deletes as the timeline goes on without having to use the razor tool, or bother with changing tools in any way, shape, or form. Need a split in the timeline? 1. Have a piece of footage you want cut out and the part after it adhered to the part before it? select that part you want cut out and hit 4. And move on with your life."

Genuinely the 2nd funniest part of the video. My guy appears out of a video cut that he wasn't there before, showing a lot of time passed, and he's got THAT face staring down Little Miss Griftypants when she turns to Grandma Chuckles.

A man with brown skin, a van dyke beard, a fade haircut, and very raised eyebrows, wearing a blue dress shirt, dark sunglasses, and a backpack, stares down an off-picture woman who is faking outrage over free speech being exercised against her.
