Hasn't this been the case for French language hockey since 2002 when hockey moved from SRC to RDS? Maybe having hockey on "free" TV for the last 24 years in Montreal caused more Francophones to watch the sport in English.

Doesn't that depend on your definition of expensive? Trailing PE is slightly down in 2026 from 27.7 to 26.2.

For sure, and who says that the Dems have any interest in reversing the protectionist trade policies that Trump is putting in place. Biden didn't really do that, and put up some of his own.

No, they should avoid the US completely. Go to the Caribbean in the winter, or stay in Canada. Spend your money someplace that is not hostile to you as Trump is president in all 50 states.

My buddies and I used to go to Florida in February each year to play golf. Last year we went to the Domincan Republic instead and we are doing that again in 2027.

But your router already knows when anyone carrying a phone comes within range of it. Or any difference with wifi capabilities, like a car, watch, tablet, etc.

000

Wayne Kozun @wayner.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Don't wifi access points already log when a device connects to them or attempts to do so? Motion sensing is less of a risk as it is less identifiable than a wifi device like a phone, watch, car, laptop, tablet, etc with a MAC (that may or may not be randomized) pinging your router.

Isn't this an advantage of FPTP systems? Here in Canada some want to move to other systems, but the problem with many of them is that fringe parties can get some seats in parliament and potentially hold the balance of power.

You would ensure that you always keep a minimum, say 25%, charge level, then recharge overnight when there is an excess of supply. It is a method of load balancing. Some people do this today with stationary batteries if they have Time of Use pricing for electricity.
