Looking for a Calgary public school trustee to vote for? We have Jenny Regal running in wards 1 & 2. She just completed her term as Vice President of the Canadian Teachers’ Federation last June. While holding this position, she would stay current on ed issues by subbing in Calgary classrooms.

This captures how the Smith Government treats the public school students in the province. Increasing private school funding at the expense of public schools. Teachers are not only fighting for a pay increase, they are fighting for the supports students need to succeed.

Yesterday, we had an EPIC rap battle. Our students had to write 4 stanzas about mercantilism. 1) from the pov of the king, 2) from the pov of the colonists, & 3) one from the pov from the Indigenous people. 1 stanza had to be about mercantilism. Over 200 gr7s participated. 3 per class battled. Win!
