some creatures you might find in the woods.

Two panels; top is of some glowing sprite type creatures huddled together in the grass and the second is a big black serpentine creature with blank yellow eyes moving slowly through the forest.

They fired so many artists over this too. People who helped make the game iconic were tossed out on the street because the Slop Faucet could do it "decent enough". If you still play Fortnite, you're funding the hyper-acceleration of AI replacing Artists in Gaming

Take a break from being depressed that everything you love is being destroyed by slop for a moment and let me tell you about the beautiful symbiotic relationship between graffiti writers, train yard workers, and model train enthusiasts.

Finished the skateboard commission I’ve had for a while! It’s a peregrine falcon divebombing its prey because that’s a thing they do apparently. #skateboard #skateboarding #skateboardart #art

A skateboard with a red background and a scene of a peregrine falcons diving at a sparrow. The sparrow has red highlights and details while the falcon has blue details added in and is leaving a ribbon trail behind it as it flies.

A close up of the ribbon swirls trailing behind the falcon in the painting.

Just want to remind folks that this keeps happening. Burials of assumed-important ancients discovered to be women via genetic testing, after decades of them simply being assumed to be male. The patriarchy is incompatible with reality.

In addition to the (very good) points being made here, the numbers also support it. If 100 people stop paying for chatGPT openAI's revenue goes from $2083333974 that month to $2083333174. When the money they save goes to pay an independent artist that artist could go from making $3900 to $4700

Have some little guys. Some concept work of the void from a comic idea I’ve been fiddling with. #creatureart #indiecomic #art #blueskyart

Drawing of three monsters from a comic idea I have. They are called the void. Top left is a round flying monster with many eyes. Top right one looks more like a rabbit. The bottom one is a twisted version of a bird.

With how slow I am to draw and working full time I doubt this idea will ever turn into anything but here’s more practice for my comic idea. #ocsky #ocart #originalcharacter #originalcomic

A drawing of five characters each in a different dancing pose. Going clockwise there’s Celeste on the top left, Aspen, Cian (Kee-an), Kyra, and Leo.

A bunch of busts to practice Cian’s hair and facial structure.

Cian sitting on top of a building showing of the towering city behind him and the eyes of the void trying desperately to get out.

I adore Witch Hat Atelier. The anime has adapted the manga so beautifully. It's reignited a love for not only creating art but studying it and its history, so I was so happy when @crunchyroll.com reached out to partner on a commission. Please watch WHA! #crunchyrollpartner #witchhatatelier

A digitally painted illustration of Coco, the protagonist of Witch at Atelier, in floating in a pastel, cloudy sky of warm white tones, pinks, and greens. She's surrounded by magical hand-drawn glyphs. Cross hatching + rendering, heavy emphasis on line art.

Singaporean artist Leia Ham reimagined LotR as Tale of the Middle Kingdom, since Chinese name for China (Zhōngguó) means "The Middle Kingdom." Her concept art includes the Fellowship, armors, buildings like Bag End, props like Aragorn's banner and Fellowship brooches, and more. #TolkienTrewsday

An illustration of the Fellowship, reimagined with Chinese-style period outfits.

An illustration of armors of Gondor, Rohan, and Rivendell Elves, reimagined using different periods of Chinese armors as concepts. On the top right are three side profiles of Rohan man, Gondorian, and Elf with different Chinese hairstyles. On the bottom right is Aragorn's banner redrawn with Chinese influence.

A concept art of Bag End reimagined as Chinese court houses, with tall stone gates, round wooden doors, curved roofs, and open courtyard, nestled in a hill.

A concept art of Rivendell in the style of Chinese painting. Next to it are several props drawn in Chinese style such as Fellowship brooch based on gingko leaves, lembas in the shape of mooncake, Elfstone as round jade, Galadriel's phial in a green jade bottle, and shards of Narsil.

Why does it bother me when a manager or the CEO of my employer boasts about using Copilot to write their emails? This. This is why

A post by "rederiswrites" (with a photo of who I assume is Adam Conover in the background) that reads: "Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is *rude*.

It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't be bothered to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.

It's rude."

I always make a wish whenever i find a new piece of Jirachi art, so this one’s for all of you to try☆彡 This one is very important to me, it took me one year to finish because of a huge art block and another year to convince myself that it was worth sharing 🎐 #pokemon #fanart #pokemonmysterydungeon

Illustration depicting the epilogue of “Bidoof’s Wish, one of the special episodes from the game “Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky”.
The illustration is set in a lush cave, the Pokémon Bidoof is standing in the foreground, with his back to the viewer and he’s mostly in shadow. The real star of this piece is the Pokémon Jirachi, who’s sleeping inside a crystal in the middle of the cave. This crystal coccoon emanates a cyan glow that illuminates the surrounding area and its vegetation.

A single page character study. The top right has a close up on the face of the character smiling slightly. Top left she is standing as if discussing something with a serious look. Bottom right sitting and staring up to the left at something. Bottom right she stands while interacting with a small butterfly to her left.

Another character from a comic idea I’ve had for way too long. Aspen is a down to earth kind of person but in a “I’ve given up” kind of way. They’ll need a bit of help to get back the hope they once held. #ocsky #originalcharacter #ocart

A pen and ink drawing of a character named Aspen. Top left is a head shot of them looking straight on. Top right they are ruffling their hair staring off to the right. Bottom left they’re sitting with elbows on their legs. Bottom right they are leaning against a wall staring down at something.
