Two years ago I decided to start rereading the Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures, for the first time since they were originally released. I came crashing to a halt at the dull third book, which I remembered nothing of. Well this week I pushed my way through. I can see why I had forgotten it!

It’s taken 2 years (longer if you count me starting it in 1993) but I’ve finally published my first ever game - welcome to Rex and the Galactic Plague on the best computer ever (Commodore Amiga)! hoystergames.itch.io/rex-and-the-...

Late to the War Games this evening but bloody hell the colourisation is fantastic and it’s moving at a cracking pace. Absolutely brilliant. What a Christmas treat.

Work is continuing on turning my old Doctor Who-inspired Amiga game into an actual Amiga game. Here’s a look back at how the current version started out and how it has changed during development youtu.be/0xGt4_wZjwE?...

Settling down with my son for the afternoon to watch the best Batman film. I’ve watched this ever Christmas since buying the VHS many, many years ago

I’ve been really enjoying watching Doctor Who season 25 special editions with my son. Watching Silver Nemesis again for the first time in about a decade, though, just confirms it as my least favourite McCoy story by quite a stretch.

Combining my two loves - #DoctorWho and gaming - by making a game for the #Commodore #Amiga that I’ve had in my head since 1992. Finally making it in the Scorpion engine. A big learning curve for a newbie like me but I’m having lots of fun doing it! youtu.be/frUckCIuyA4?...

Two viewings of Wild Blue Yonder and it finds itself in my very top tier of Doctor Who. So many great things to pick out but the performances have to be at the very top. Just wonderful.

Back in for an immediate Doctor Who rewatch. Can’t remember the last time I did this!

Well Doctor Who was utterly wonderful this evening. Had no idea where it was going to go and loved every second of finding out. Also my 9 year old spent it curled up on knee, terrified. Which is as it should be.
