Have you ever noticed the two spiral structures on the east side of the garden? These are herb spirals built by garden volunteers! The spiral design allows a large variety of herbs to be planted in a relatively small space by providing different drainage, light, and soil conditions in one garden.

Join us for Prescribed Burn Community Education. Tuesday, March 4, 6:30-7:30pm. Garden Annex. Every spring we conduct a prescribed burn in the native areas. This educational event will explain the how and why of our prescribed burn, and orient volunteers to ways to support this annual activity.
