It think was also a case of “too little too late” by the time Sony asked FromSoftware for a Bloodborne remake, they were already busy with Nintendo’s The Duskbloods.
Sony probably saw the positive reception to Duskbloods and thought “Hey, maybe people want more Bloodborne!”
