Mozilla has just announced a partnership with Mistral. One thing that Waterfox won't do is send your browsing history to an AI company. Not through oblivious methods or any other way.

Smart window privacy notice, showing an egregious passage, highlighted.

Could you try going to `about:preferences#privacy` in the address bar, scroll down to DNS over HTTPS and select one of the other options outside of Ultra - maybe starting with Default Protection? Then see if loading issues still occur?

2025 was a big year for Waterfox! Waterfox encrypted and anonymised over 105 billion DNS requests as part of our free Oblivious DNS service - that's an average of ~3,300 requests a second - with peaks of over 6,000 R/s!

Together with @Ecosia, Waterfox users have helped to plant over 130,566 trees with the @JaneGoodallInst! An incredible feat that will have a lasting impact in the world for years to come. Thank you to both Ecosia and the users for believing in the good Waterfox can achieve. 🌳
