Had a night to process #CanMMT bowing out of #FIFAWorldCup. I only have one thing to say: What a ride! #AllezLesRouges

Walter Siu @waterboy99troop.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

This place feels like a proper football stadium. And I don't mean just the American kind. #CanMNT #FIFAWorldCup #AllezLesRouges

Home from #ConcaChampions #AwayDays now. What a fun two weeks. The matches were fun regardless of results, but it's the people that I travelled with that really made the trip what it was. Here's to you all! #VancouverFC #VWFC

#ConcaChampions #AwayDays post-MD2: in the end, an away trip is fun, no matter the result. Scoreless draw isn't the worst thing. Thanks to this crew (+ 1 local) that made this trip. Now to fly back on Friday for the home opener on Saturday! #VWFC #CapsOnTour #SouthsidersOnTour

#ConcaChampions #AwayDays Matchday morning: just walking around downtown San José before heading to Cartago later. Seven years since my last visit, and still definitely one of my favourite places in Central America. #VWFC

#ConcaChampions #AwayDays: arrival at San José, and not just us. The team also arrived at the same time. I also got interviewed for local radio. #VWFC

Quick pause in Mexico City for #ConcaChampions #AwayDays. Checked off the final item of my Mexican food checklist with barbacoa. Also finally found a Mexico scarf to continue my quest of getting one from each country I visit. Don't worry, I'm not filing a one-time switch.

First matchday of this #ConcaChampions #AwayDays: Cruz Azul v #VancouverFC. It was about what you'd expect in terms of the outcome, but it was still an enjoyable experience. Onto the next one next week. But first, a weekend in Mexico City.

#CanMNT vs. Qatar June 18th. I'll be trying to lead the chants from the upper bowl back row. Bring it. #FIFAWorldCup

A little over six months ago, I was in Mexico City watching #VWFC play in the #ConcaChampions final. Five months ago, if you told me we signed Thomas Müller, I would've thought you were crazy. Now I'm in Fort Lauderdale getting ready for #MLS Cup Final. Life comes at you fast.

Something that's being thrown around in the Whitecaps Discord: There would be quite a bit of interest to buy if #VWFC or Jesper released a clothing line with just beige turtlenecks. What do you think?

We're approaching full stadium sellout (excluding resales). We're still over two and half weeks out from the match. SO HOT! #VWFC

These are away supporter seats. Somebody in the Whitecaps front office might have messed up with putting these up for general sale. #VWFC

Well, the league got what they wanted. An expansion team won the West. #VWFC loses with some really curious decisions made by Chapman and the VAR crew. Game's gone. #MLS

I know there are multiple phases and a Canada allotment (which I am banking on), but early indications are local hardcore fans are getting either priced out or shut out altogether. Not that I think FIFA cares as they're rolling in the money, but it's a really bad look. #WC2026
