Police are starting to line up which means we will be getting team France or team Spain this evening. But since the Official Supervisor of the Unofficial World Cup headquarters is asleep I’m guessing we are still a few hours out.

Jasper, a fluffy long-haired cat, is sound asleep in his hammock under an art desk while police vehicles line the street outside the apartment windows ahead of another FIFA World Cup team arrival. The self-appointed “official supervisor” appears to be on a well-earned break.

In the past couple of weeks I have had teams England, Netherlands, and Argentina stay across the street from my apartment here in Dallas. Côte d'Ivoire arrived today and this is the first time I’ve seen a team come out and greet their fans. So cool!
