Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 30/04/2025You presented beautifully @allygrandison.bsky.social! Looking forward to make meaningful contributions in this space together! 010
Reposted by Wasi KahnDr Ally Grandison @allygrandison.bsky.social · 29/04/2025A fantastic day at Surrey ExciTeS! It was a pleasure to present my ongoing work with @wasified.bsky.social on how we can use Auth+, a novel AI, to support students with the assessment process, and equip educators to tackle the challenges of higher education’s rapidly evolving climate. 131
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 24/02/2025Dr G is a cool nickname, I'm jealous you thought of it before me. 000
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 01/02/2025wow Ally! This is amazing, I've always wanted to do standup too. but never got the courage :( I'm really curious to see your set now, I hope there is a p value joke in there somewhere :D 010
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 30/01/2025isn't this 'fish in the shoal' quite a trend in corporations too tho? Hence, an industry agnostic thing and not just pertaining to HE? I don't actually work in HE - just asing to gain some perspection and contect :) 100
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025we can do it tomorrow-ish..I don't mind..i asked u to follow so I remember to 'follow' up...see what I did there? That is an actual pun right there Kitsu 110
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025I like how your tone reflects of a magnificient queen bestowing wisdom to her subservient underling - ty your Highness for not expecting me to be perfect. Also, Onedrive sucks, I want two drives.media.tenor.coma man in a suit and tie is dancing on a stage with a cbs logo in the background .ALT: a man in a suit and tie is dancing on a stage with a cbs logo in the background . 120
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025It is always better to be engrossed, than just grossed I guess. :) 110
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025I dumped discord a while ago sis, do you collab on streams often? What does the usual collab look like? 100

Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025wow, someones feeling super confident today - you're assuming people read what you write. Lmk if i went too far. And, yea, I know its a terrible situation, hence I made what I made. 100
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025how do we decide whose better tho? The worse dad joke wins? And lol it's ok ur good dw about it 100
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025well morality is subjective. And why are you assuming I do it - I in fact do the opposite - I HELP INSTRUCTORS DETECT SUCH CASES: authplus.ai 120
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025maybe if you were a better writer you'd write better puns :P 100
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025ye ofcourse, I was just highlighting an edge case you missed. 100
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025ye - sad thing is its just not about providing access - even with access there is a pretty higher barrier such as a high barrier to entry, cultural nuances, not all jobs are fit to go digital etc...wonder if thinking of new ways to allocate capital could be a new tangential solution 000
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025ye, I guess countries just encapsulations of idealogies - and individuals cannot be lumped up into one. A lot of immigration also has to do with how capital has flowed throughtout history, and that is a large part of immigration. Perhaps, if capital was more evenly flowed, less people would move. 110
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025LinkedIn is a cringe fest, its like attending a wedding. Everyone is dressed up and humble bragging about how successful they are in front of their relatives. 000
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Ye ig, I've met a lot of Americans most are pretty spectacular. But a part of me always questions if the notion of countries is a bit outdated in the Internet age. 110
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025ye one of my friends in the US told me that we keeps his papers on him at all times now. 110
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025so practically speaking people would have to lawyer up or they'd be canon balled out? 110
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 27/01/2025lol its ok, was just kidding! But the opposite isn't necessarily true tho, people who can't write doesn't necessarily lived enough. Maybe its a personality thing tbh. 010
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 26/01/2025ye - i agree! Hence, we need new tools to prevent the convience of LLMs taking over the process of writing from students is where I stand on this tbh. 010
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 26/01/2025ye its their same 'bundling' strategy they have used to kill new ideas and startups for years tbh 010
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 26/01/2025I also feel the need to mention that this might be a Microsoft issue and not an AI issue overall. Microsoft is very capable of taking good products/ideas and killing their soul: if Internet Explorer is bad does not mean that ALL browsers are bad just means IE is bad. 050
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 26/01/2025Ye, maybe that works for books. But in some areas, like students using this approach is obvously problematic - for themselves in the long term. 100
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 26/01/2025damn, reminds me of the place walter white used to cook meth in the RV 110
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 26/01/2025ye but on the other end of the spectrum there are people who do not want to write. They're the target market here perhaps, and the sad thing is - it is true - that now its easier to get by without learning how to actually write. 100
Reposted by Wasi KahnMartin Calladine @uglygame.bsky.social · 26/01/2025No, I don't need a bloody copilot for this document, thank you. Writing is, in no small part, a tool for thinking. If you outsource that element to a machine that cannot think, you shouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the process, neither you nor your reader are any the wiser. 326136191954
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 25/01/2025lol that's funny - I just meant there are different intentions: 1) You have text - and you want to know if AI wrote it or not 2) You have text someone claims they wrote not AI - you want to check if that claim is true or not I have something for 2, for 1 there are tools with resulting accuracy. 010
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 25/01/2025that is pretty cool - and democratizing in the best sense. Now more people will need less people to do more. A lot less hoops to jump through in the sense educators will need less IT people around for houskeeping stuff - which I think IT people wouldn't even bother doing! 000
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 25/01/2025ye - life is better in sing song I guess. What do you teach? 100
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 24/01/2025Claude is eerily awesome at code moreso than ChatGPT! Were you able to transport the HTML to your Canvas page effectively tho? I feel it uses custom styles etc - which are hard to copy over on a already deployed system. 100
Wasi Kahn @wasified.bsky.social · 24/01/2025that's pretty cool! I remember I used to remember key notes from lectures using sing song - so ideas like this are fun! 100
