I am actually at IRCAD in France: seeing healthcare professionals and technology companies come together. Different perspectives, shared challenges—and the chance to develop solutions with the people who will actually use them. Great to see that collaboration up close. #Healthcare #IRCAD

New week, familiar task: entering the same information twice. 💻 If I could improve one digital workflow this Monday, it would be making information available where it’s needed—without another copy and paste. Which piece of documentation would your team love to stop duplicating? #Healthcare

Saturday is my sports day. It’s a chance to switch off a bit and reflect on the week. Now the weekend can really get underway. How do you best unwind after a stressful week? #sport #running #fitness

Yesterday’s example: AI supporting breast cancer screening. 🎗️ Before the weekend, I’d love to hear what’s working in your hospital. Which technology has become something your team wouldn’t want to work without—and what does it make easier? Real examples welcome! #Healthcare #SmartHospital

I had this couple of times in my last company. I had to attend a weekly meeting from Germany with Singapore and LA, and it was always 2 a.m. for me. And even then, unfortunately, it was often canceled after I was wide awake again, sitting at my laptop.

No , THAT should be only one part of a whole healthcare process

How clever is this 😀 If I worked at a pizzeria, after watching this video—if not sooner—I'd just do it that way from now on.😂

🎗️ How is technology improving breast cancer detection? In Sweden’s MASAI trial, AI-supported mammography using Transpara detected 29% more cancers than standard double reading. A practical example of AI helping radiologists identify breast cancer. 🔗 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39904652/ #pinkoctober

📍 “We found the pump.” 🔋 “But the battery is empty.” Equipment tracking is a useful start. The next step is connecting location with readiness: clean, charged, serviced and available. That’s the smart hospital feature I’d like to see: a “ready to use” filter. #SmartHospital #Healthcare

Good morning! An infusion pump is available somewhere in the hospital. Finding it is the problem. Live equipment tracking could help—but only if the device is also clean, charged and ready to use. What takes longer in your hospital: finding equipment or getting it ready? #hospital #healthcare

I am sorry to hear that , but also here in Germany is absolutely hard to find a good doctor. I worked with great doctors in the past but also with many a**holes

I assisted in a lot of open , laparoscopic and robotic surgery s , the only thing that matters is the training of all the people . With good trained stuff robotic surgery is faster ( for most of the surgery's)

Interesting and absolutely essential, not only for surgeons , but also for nursing staff, assistants and anaesthetists. Only a well-trained and well-coordinated team can be truly successful

The conditions for this are certainly in place in India. And if development continues at the pace seen in recent years, this will become one of the most attractive markets.

But the problem is obvious. People do not want to work in such areas for this money what they can get ( fully understandable , I was in the same position) . Ai shouldn't replace people but help the people that are there

Robot-assisted surgery isn't just about precision. It's also about reducing physical strain on the surgeon, who can maintain a much better posture while working at the robotic console. In addition, 3D visualization is standard in robotic procedures, which is a huge benefit for the surgeon.

To achieve that, the essential jobs, above all, would have to be paid significantly better. Like you, I really, really hope that we'll live to see that happen.

Unfortunately, that's exactly the point. Companies can only move quickly if the government gets on board and we don't get bogged down in a thousand nonsensical regulations.

People are talking a lot about the German healthcare system these days, but whenever I see these posts, I think to myself that we really have it good here in Germany.

And, of course, you can then tackle the more complex issues as well. But people often forget that more than 50% of a doctor’s or nurse’s working hours are spent on documentation and administrative tasks.

Andy @warning.wsocial.eu · 02/10/2026
I see what you mean. But I see the benefit most clearly in the day-to-day tasks on the hospital ward, where the staff is sometimes severely understaffed. We should be investing much more in AI for documentation and administrative tasks.

Definitely—this is one of several projects I've seen in the past where a real-time 3D model was created from ultrasound data. This gives the surgeon a much better and more accurate overview than “just” ultrasound.

My test for smart hospital technology: does it still help during a busy shift? One login. Information available where it’s needed. Fewer duplicate entries. Making everyday work easier is an innovation worth pursuing. #SmartHospital #DigitalHealth #healthcare

Smart hospital innovation can start with a barcode. The NHS Scan4Safety approach digitally links patients with the products used in their care — supporting traceability, stock management and faster responses to recalls. #SmartHospital #PatientSafety #healthcare www.gs1uk.org/insights/tho...

Absolutely. Even bringing the relevant information together and showing who needs to act next could help. Supporting human judgement starts with giving people a clear picture of the situation.

The good thing about robotic surgery is that the differences between surgeons are becoming increasingly minor. In laparoscopic surgery, the differences used to be like night and day.

The grape is just the demonstration. The real story is the precision robotic surgery puts in a surgeon’s hands. Fine movements, controlled instrument handling and dexterity in a tiny space — technology that supports human skill. #RoboticSurgery #MedTech #healthcare
