This is my most recent piece, Bat Boy! I drew, carved and printed it in a mad dash to make it in time for an art market. I'm pretty happy with this goober's face. #printmaking #linocut #art #bats

There were so many incredible artists participating at this year's Print Austin Expo. I am still buzzing about some of the fantastic relief prints I saw and I felt inspired to make this little linocut. #printmaking #linocut #art #ATX

With Christmas season in full swing now, I wanted to share some of my past years Christmas cards. I used to make a handful of hand drawn ones but then I realized I was spending like 7-8 hours on a single one. So, I made the actual rational decision and have tried to make a new design every year.

Illustration of a smiling happy Santa face wearing sunglasses. In his beard are multiple smiling orange cats. Set against a green background.

Meowsh Pit Intaglio, 7"x5" I make a lot of work that I never necessarily expect would appeal to many, so it's really gratifying to see peoples excitement at the print events I've been to. It's honestly surprising it took me this long to come up with it. #etching #art #printmaking #cats #metal

Copper etching of cats in a frenzied mosh pit, printed with black ink on Hahnemühle

I made a lino print patch for the first time the other day. I don't have the best sewing skills but this was a lot of fun.

Here is a print I made a couple years back reflecting on the collective burnout many of us have been feeling with the state of the world. Don't submit to the doom though, people! We'll get through this together 🔥 #linocut #printmaking #art #darkart #burnout #skeleton

Linocut print of a female skeleton consumed by flames and billowing smoke. Black ink on a slightly warm kitakata Japanese paper

New bat stamp freshly carved. I like his goofy smile. I'm still a bit the dog that caught the car with these. I don't know what purpose these necessarily will serve but I can't stop making them. #art #printmaking

Seriously, I have gone off the deep end making these. I don't even have any events coming up that I can hope to sell them at. This was just a fun distraction from freelancing and job hunting.

Ok, I guess it's time to divulge that I have a new craft I'm hooked on. For the past 3 weeks or so, I have been carving custom stamps and making bookmarks. It's been a fun way to blend my love of printmaking with graphic design. Let me know what y'all think.
