Marvin’s “Distant Lover” live in London may be his best recording. His “Vulnerable“ album is an unsung masterpiece and may be my favorite.

The truth is most people and even creators know nothing about ART. They know capitalism. Those are the governors of their experiences.

Travelled high and low to find the original “Smile” tapes. ”Pet Sounds” alone feels lonely. Thank God for the extended release. Gotta hit East/West and use that board. It’s still there. Also not they got the wild fly merch on the lizzo.

Skeet (Bass player for Parliament Funkadelic, Kashif etc) told me once in a studio session that he'd just come back from Minneapolis. That he and Prince were working w George and whenever P would get happy he would do a backflip in heels. In HEELS.

My favorite producer remains Madlib but Ocean Aquanaut, Alchemist, DJ Muggs, Nicholas Craven, and Conductor Williams are there. Can't forget V Don, Blank Thought, klwn cat, Ohbliv, Raz Fresco (yes, he makes beats), Oddisee, yU (he makes heat too). #hiphop #producers #producer
