Text reads: Still, she didn't need to think hard about her response to the grief-laden question. "You still believe you don't deserve kindness?" she asked softly. "That you are the only person in this world that has committed unspeakable crimes?" She reached out to rest a hand on Alessandra's shoulder. "If I were to reserve my kindness only to those who feel they deserve it, I would never share it with anybody." She looked down at her lap, then back at Alessandra. "This isn't to entirely let you off the hook for what you've done. But you were the victim of an incredibly cruel, and thoughtless crime. Your reaction... it's entirely understandable."

She sighed, looking away now, and not looking back this time. "Some people are cruel for no reason." Again, there was a sense she was speaking from personal experience, though she chose not to elaborate. She cleared her throat. "So, yes. I still think you deserve kindness, because I still believe the entire world will benefit from as much kindness as I can offer until my time expires. I would... I would want the same thing, were I in your position."

I wrote this a bit ago of Alessandra talking with Leliana when Leliana expressed uncertainty about herself and who she is, but I think it reflects how I feel about her pretty succinctly She's been stuck at a crossroads almost her entire life and doesn't have the confidence to choose a path

"I get this feeling that you are at quite a personal crossroads in your life. Unsure of which direction is right, what path to take, or whether to move forward... or backwards. So, maybe your dream is about the Blight. Or maybe it's uncertainty. That if you were to fall, how would you know it was the right choice? Would there be someone there to catch you?"

Leliana began a slow roll with both hands, watching the woman beneath her quickly lose herself. With her eyes now closed, she wouldn’t see Leliana gazing down at her so adoringly; she didn't have to see her to know just by picturing it. Alessandra allowed herself to simply feel those hands on her, tiny little cries escaping her mouth, her lack of vision serving to further enhance the pleasure Leliana was giving her.

“How does that feel?”

“A-amazing,” she answered, failing to bite back a moan. “Don’t stop. Please.” Alessandra heard Leliana let out an audible breath and she briefly thought of opening her eyes to catch whatever look she was giving her, except those hands were so much that it made it difficult to focus on anything else. “It feels so good.”

The way she pressed her fingers into soft flesh, squeezing so tenderly, coaxed newer sounds out of Alessandra. Her positive verbal responses must have had an effect on Leliana, encouraging her to try other methods. When lips trailed kisses along her neck, Alessandra instinctively tilted her head back, granting Leliana better access. She kissed along her pulse, going lower, down to her collar bones, then lower still. Alessandra’s breath hitched as Leliana kissed the top of one breast, then the other. Leliana did not stop there, heat blooming beneath each inch of skin her mouth covered.

And still she did not stop, not even after her back arched and her breaths became heavy beneath all these new sensations.

Alessandra wanted more. She needed more.

If you're in need of more Ashiana fluff (yes that's their ship name), I wrote this on the fly when it came to me:

Leliana could feel Alessandra's eyes on her, while she was trying to sleep. "I know you're watching me," she murmured, smiling at Alessandra's soft giggle.
"Pff, what? Nooo," her partner vehemently denied the claims. Her increasing giggles gave her away. "Alright, you caught me. But can you blame me? We haven't shared a bed in two weeks!"
When Alessandra fell quiet did Leliana open her eyes, taking in the sight of the elven woman's face so close to hers. She wouldn't see as much detail while they lay in complete darkness, but it wasn't hard to miss the look of adoration in her eyes.
"I missed you," Alessandra admitted, her voice mixed with both sadness and warmth. She hid nothing behind her honesty, and it made Leliana sigh in empathy.
"Oh, my love. I have missed you, too. And I while I do find your staring to be quite adorable, I really want to sleep. And I want you to sleep."
A look of guilt crossed those beautiful features. "I know. I'm just... I'm too wired right now. I can't sleep. I'm sorry." Alessandra looked almost helpless; a part of Leliana ached watching her deal with this, the poor dear.
"Mm, don't be. Is there anything I can do to help?" She watched her partner think over her answer for a moment, before giving a rather shy, if earnest, reply:
"Would you, ah, would you tell me a story? Please? I think, if I just had something to focus on, it might help me relax."
Leliana smiled in understanding. "Of course. Now, close your eyes, and let me tell you the tale of a young woman who fell in love with a soldier..."

So I've been brainstorming and working on a rough draft of the first time Alessandra is sexually intimate with Leliana and I wanted to share this part I wrote back in Dec. I adore how this turned out; it shows just how powerfully Alessandra loves sometimes. Leliana loves her all the more for it

Fingers brushed strands of hair out of her face, quickly followed by a soft press of lips to her forehead. The contact made her feel warm inside. An elated sensation that threatened to spill down her cheeks.

“Are you alright, mon cœur?” Her inquiry was out of concern, thumbs brushing over cheeks not yet damp. Her heart, and what a powerful and intimate way to address her.

“I am,” Alessandra affirmed. “Just overwhelmed. All this intimacy is getting to me.” She sniffled, watching as Leliana settled down next to her. “I’ve never felt my heart so full.”

“It is the lightest I have felt in many years,” her partner agreed. “You make me so happy, Ashi. My Lionheart.”

You make me so happy.

It was all she ever wanted to hear. For someone to look her way, to lean on her, be someone to turn to and show their deepest, truest self. All she needed was someone open-minded, with a willingness to show her efforts were not unwelcome. Someone who wanted to meet her halfway; she did not need to chase endlessly. A heart was not tireless, and could not take such reckless pursuits that bore no fruit.

She made Leliana happy. Alessandra could live on those five words, forever.

“I love you.” A soft, whispered proclamation, with the full weight of her emotions spilling over at last. “I love you so much.”

“Oh, darling. You and your beautiful heart. There are no words with which to convey the depth of my love, only that I feel it embody my entire being. My very soul.”

I've made Alessandra in at least two other games. She's a Sylvari in Guild Wars 2 and a Wood Elf barbarian in BG3. I'm not sure if I'll keep barbarian as her base class or change it to fighter; it's undecided. I just wanted access to berserker rages
