one of the best feelings in life is going to a museum and, while enjoying a piece in the exhibit, a gray and white-haired person whose face painted with laugh lines starts an exchange of fun, whimsical comments between you and them. You both talk about the work and walk away fulfilled :)

An Au'ra from FFXIV clad in cruelly shaped ebon armor. He carries the eponymous Shadowbringer great sword. His face is twisted into an expression of tearful fear, uncertain of the path he must take to move on bereft of love. His farthest horn, nose, and mouth is exaggerated to look like it's being pulled away from his face, just as the top of his hair is by a well-placed smudge tool. The background is a dizzying vortex of hallmark Dark Knight colors: red, purple, near-black. All he sees is red, as is evident by the red trail ferried along in his vision.

Lightforged Draenei Paladin resting a hand up on a tavern bannister whilst his free hand is reading a book. He's wearing armor befitting of a draenei paladin in addition to a pauldron from Dragonflight. His tabard is wrapped around him like a robe save for the opening in the chest of the robe where a deep purple crystal, as present in his draenic pauldron, is made prominent. Cracks peel down from his eyes and across his cheeks. Gold adorns his head ornament and horns, paled in comparison in luster and brilliance to the light from his eyes. His beard is glorious and resplendent.

"Vitae spills truth whilst wolven foes espouse mimicry." Experimental piece on Procreate. I needed to paint this during an afternoon before the heart went quiet. Patrons saw this 6+ days early. You can get this as a print, too!
