there’s a ton of promise in AHS, the sets, costuming, makeup, and casting are all usually excellent. the opening sequences, like you said, are great. first few episodes of a season are even pretty interesting, set up a lot of plot threads that could be great. then Ryan has to go and Murphy it all up

Poo Reader is notably still on 0.72(.23). Each point released fixed crashing on a separate CPU architecture. Or broke a previous fix. Or introduced new, seemingly unrelated crashes. Or reverted a previous fix because it can, in certain circumstances, corrupt a user’s library database.
