Where is the outrage about student loan forgiveness being offered to ICE hires? ICE is a public disservice. “I don’t want MY tax dollars paying off someone else’s loans. I paid off MY loans. They signed up for these loans. Forgive MY mortgage then. This doesn’t affect the root cause of the problem.”

If the GOP reconciliation bill passes, ICE gets through FY2029: - $45 billion for detention, on top of the current annual budget of $3.4 billion - $14.4 billion for transportation and removal, on top of the current annual budget of $750 million - $8 billion for hiring/retention - Billions more.
