I think I'll just buy the newer version of what I got. The one with hot swappable buttons, and native Switch 2 compatibility. Those micro controllers that can fit in just one hand seem interesting too.

The controller I bought 5 years ago finally got stick drift. Maybe it happened much earlier and I just didn't notice since I've been playing mostly visual novels, JRPGs, and 2D games.

This is my third attempt at trying it. Every time the overworld map shows up with a lot of things to do, I just feel tired and just lose all the energy to play it. I just want to experience the story and see the characters...

The JRPG I'm playing right now has so many things to do, it honestly feels more like a to-do checklist that I need to complete because it's there, not because I have fun doing them. Kinda tempted to enable the 4x EXP 2x AP, just so I could skip some of those, but still not end up underlevelled.

Looking at the intro of the first few Umas, Cygames really went thru a lot of art styles. This one similar to Akihiko Yoshida / Granblue. Not sure, but the other intros have art similar to their other games. I wonder what's the deciding factor on picking the Deresute art style in the end.

I always tell others that if they're having fun, it's not a waste of time. But I'm not good at taking my own advice. Still feel guilty for not being productive, just a little but though.

"Instead of doomscrolling when I'm sad, I'm just gonna play instead." 70 hours of playtime in 2 weeks I don't know if I'm supposed to look at it positively, since I'm having fun instead of just being sad. But looking at it negatively, a significant chunk of my day is spent on just being sad.

It's actually nice being able to see the result of my work and tell that I did something great. Whenever I look at my drawings and want to tell myself that it's good, I feel like I'm lying. I think the most positive opinion I have for any of my drawings is "not bad".

I cleaned my trash can a few weeks ago, and it looks brand new now. Every time I see it when I throw something, I feel some sort of accomplishment. Like "SEE HOW FREAKING CLEAN THAT IS?? I DID THAT!!"

I know that I haven't used it for 5 years by now, but auto-following pages seem like scammy..? There are other pages that I 'follow', like shows and movies that I haven't even heard of, and devs / publishers of games that I don't even play.

Every time I open Facebo0k, I would always see pages and accounts that I've supposedly followed even when I haven't seen them before. Like why would I even follow US government accounts?? I don't even live or can afford to go there.

3 hours of cringe teenage drama, and the playthrough of Until Dawn I'm watching finally reached the point where the characters are getting abducted and ki1led. It's so worth it seeing that flirty character scream while being dragged away.

--- too saturated and high contrast. A lot of the small details I work put a lot of effort in just don't show up. And when working on commissions, I don't know if the color corrections I apply on my drawings show up the same way to them...

I always wonder if anyone besides me has actually seen my drawings on the same way as I see it. The display tablet I'm using to draw has an LCD screen. Whenever I view my drawings on phones and TV, which have OLED screens or some sort of color boost I can't turn off, it looks too vibrant ---

I keep seeing pictures and clips of CONTROL Resonant, but I shouldn't play it yet. Remedy takes their time with development (their games are great), so I want to space out playing their games and only do when I'm 'starving'. I just finished Alan Wake II last year, I can wait a little longer

Digital art of the character chiikawa dressed as Dylan Faden from Control Resonant. He seems to be trying and failing to hold back tears while shaking. the text under the art read "THE BOARD: <Please stop crying/leaking/awooo.>"

I rarely browse social media, so even 'normal' things would still surprise me. But maaan..If people on the internet do this thing regularly... That's really disheartening.

I know a lot of people are farming internet engagement, but it's still bizarre seeing it in real time. There's an account that made a hate post about a game that's currently trending, and when I look at their profile, they're playing the game?!?!

I know they're just doing their job of asking for an unboxing video. But the missing item is so huge, the parcel that I received was half of the expected size. On the first moment I saw it, it's already obvious that the specific item was not there, so I knew I had to record an unboxing video .

Wanderstill || Commissions Waitlist @wanderstillart.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I've been doing it like this, but my recordings always end up either too zoomed-in or out of frame. I guess it just takes enough practice to get a hang of recording, but people on the internet make it seem so easy. 😭

Wanderstill || Commissions Waitlist @wanderstillart.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Stupid question how do people record unboxing videos for possible refund purposes (not the type of unboxing that collectors do)? Especially if it's a huge parcel that's wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap. Need to use two hands just to unbox, and unable to even hold a phone to record.

I actually think it's better to watch cutscenes / gameplay on Youtube for P5X than not play it at all. It has a lot of redeeming qualities, but you need to go thru all the gacha-related problems to reach those.

010 0

Wanderstill || Commissions Waitlist @wanderstillart.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

The game pisses me off with the gacha related grinding and unlockables. I'm poor as heck so there's a lot of premium stuff I've already missed. But I think the story, characters, music, and art make up for it by a wide margin. Manaka and Katayama already make the game worth playing.
