Forgot to post that we made a lot of headway on Underdark pg 1 on the stream before last. It's a lot more work then I have been doing for fancomics but I'm having a blast with it, doubly so because we dealt with the spoders last stream <3 #baldursgate3 #blurg #mushroomdads

Blurg harvests mushrooms while left to right around the border a figure runs from weird surreal wolves then falls down a well to be chased by spiders.

If you were wondering what I'm working on, it's my first Underdark comic and basically what I'm playing BG3 for again.

A work in progress baldurs gate 3 fan comic. Bluurg the hobgoblin is harvesting mushrooms in the center. The border is another comic from left to right that shows the character Quin running away from strange wolves, dropping down the village well, then running from spiders with a deer skull on his head.

So for no reason in particular, concept to draft, for me. This is my OC Quin and Halsin, a character from Baldur's Gate 3, in winterwear. This isn't the final piece, but I thought it might be nice for people to see what concept actually means.

"Hiding" a #BaldursGate3 fancomic featuring Astarion, Lae'zel, Karlach, and my Tav Quin. This finishes up my gith creche comics! We're gonna build some new foundations for Astarion one brick at a time. 1/2

Astarion gets ready for an event, one of the other spawn ask him if he's ready "Of course." He says, while thinking about his hunger. Cazador appears behind him suddenly, "Not hiding anything are we? Boy?" Astarion starts to panic. "You ARE...What is it?! GIVE it to ME." Someone shakes his shoulder, "Astarion?"

Astarion 'wakes up' and hisses, "Don't touch me!" Karlach waves her hands in defence "Whoa! Easy, sorry mate. You were so far away." The team of Lae'zel, Astarion, Karlach, and Quin stand in a cavern looking at the Blood of Lathander and the defensive crystals. Astarion asks, "What's the hold up?" Karlach answers, "Quin's not sure." "I just think it's a little TOO easy. Any weapon from Lathander would possibly help. But...well...What do you think Astarion?" Astarion looks surprised. "M-Me??" "Yeah," Answers Quin, "You're good with traps."

In his mind Astarion hears the words of Cazador again. "ARE YOU HIDING SOMETHING?" He starts to curl inwards. "Everything okay?" Ask's Quin but he's faded into the background. "What's wrong, Fangs?" "They just look like tacky ornaments to me." Astarion answers grumpily. Except, maybe...he thinks. That looks like the trinket I found! Now they're interested, why should I share? If it's valuable it's MINE. Astarion stutters out loud, the others look on in worry. "Is something wrong?" "I'm sure it's fine, Lae'zel." "Do we need to fight?!"
Internally, Astarion is trapped with Cazador, who say's "You own nothing. I own you. You ARE nothing. They will discover the truth. You will be abandoned and you will return. TO ME."

A small nurgling is forming out of a smelly pile of something. Barnabas is trying to drop a match on it, but is struggling with it's ridiculous effort at looking cute. Behind him one of the retinue: "Barnabas! What's the hold up?" Barnabas addresses the Nurgling.
"Please don't look at me like that, it's not very Chaos of you..."
Behind him the voice gets panicky "Emperor's Teeth! Argenta, get the flame-thrower!" Barnabas continues to address the nurgling.
"Now see what you've done?"

Lae'zel Posting my next comic here :) I really felt for Lae'zel in this moment, and I think it was important to not just gloss over the fact that everything she believed in just fell to pieces. Quin isn't the best at bringing people back from the edge, but his hearts in the right place.

Lae'zel's heart is broken, Quin notices from the background. Karlach and Astarion are trying to move the statue so the group can escape. In a smaller panel to the right, Quin has come over to check on her.

"What do you want, istik." Lae'zel wipes her eyes and Quin asks outright if she is okay. A giant image of Vlaakith looms over Lae'zel in a flashback "That was all a bit intense." Lae'zel reacts strongly to Quin asking "Save your pity for one who needs it! I am nothing if I cannot pass this test." Quin speaks "Lae'zel you're smarter than this. Even I can tell it's a set-up."

"I cannot fail!" Lae'zel shouts at Quin. Inside, all her fears are going through her mind. I am alone, I am separate, I am afraid, I am nothing. She speaks out loud "You couldn't possibly understand." Quin finally reacts. "Lae'zel. Gith! We have worms in our brains! You don't think I worry a bit about failure?!" Waving his arms like a puppet he continues. "I'm sorry the person, the being, you relied on most is a royal bitch! I guess now you'll have to rely on us!" Karlach and Astarion notice from the background with all the shouting.

"Shouldn't we stop this, Fangs?" Astarion holds Karlach back. "No let them fight." In the background Lae'zel and Quin are shouting. "What is this us? You're not making sense. istik sentimentality!" Quin yells back. "You're deliberately misunderstanding because you're hurt and don't want to hear it!" Lae'zel starts her speech "What good is this heart of stone for it to break-" She looks down. "What? What is this? What are you doing?" Quin has knelt down before her. "Lae'zel. We can't succeed without you. You don't need to prove anything to us. We won't test you."
