#haiku I don't want to live forever, just long enough to say 'I told you'.

So I get £5.89 off this purchase if I give them £10....🤷 What kind of half-arsed logic is that?!

My mum has just found a first edition of Beatrix Potter's "Ginger & Pickles" on one of her bookshelves! Not too shabby for a Wednesday afternoon!

#FromOneLine 427 When tomorrow becomes today and today becomes yesterday and nothing changes but the weather, the futility of it all appears thru the fog. Another dread day endured, the only light that of darkness at day's end, when sensitivities subside and the silence welcomes me home.

Social media, whichever platform, is a safety valve that benefits those in power. If the anger expressed on social media was actually focused into something concrete in the real world, there would be a hope for change. But it isn't so there isn't.

People have asked me why I'm on Bluesky, that it's just full of videos of cats and dogs and other animals. Funny how some people answer their own questions.....

The private care industry is unfair to paid carers. I know someone who is on shift for 14 hours a day, 07:00 to 22:00. In that time she is designated 'calls', visits to service users, averaging 30 mins each, maybe 12/16 a day. She is paid only while she is at the clients house.

#NowWatching This has been a particularly difficult watch. Not just the videos of the atrocities but also the smug satisfaction of the major Serb, Croat and Bosnian Muslim protagonists as they discussed the wholesale cleansing, slaughter and 'liquidation' of tens of thousands of civilians,

Ace Combat 2 on the PS1 was my favourite shit. I'd play it for hours and couldn't wait for AC3. Unfortunately, while I was waiting, I grew up. #AceCombat8

My 'engagement' over on Xitter was negligible. The same is pretty much true over here. But I'd much rather be ignored on a non-Muskian platform. I'd rather feed a butterfly than a snake.

#vss365 I fear the lost screams, those let loose on stormy cliff tops, on building roofs, behind thick glass or into lonely pillows. These are the cries that are never answered, drifting forever in the dark, unresolved pain haunting every night time silence.
