I mean, makes sense. Kind of like prosecution doesn't apply to Epstein predators

His brain is so dysfunctional, he doesn't even comprehend how humiliating it is to complain about it. He actually is 10 years old up there.

That's what the whole world should do. Openly mock him for the dangerous imbecile that he is.

What kind of sociopath do you have to be to use AI to call your mom? And then what, you get a summary of the conversation from Gemini as well?

No, it's not (worse than I think), I've read the Mozilla report from ages ago. Here's a refresher: bsky.app/profile/wamx...

Oh, I see. Although, I did disable the default gallery, but I don't have any default calendar or music apps right now, only those I installed. Are those stubs invisible from the drawer and app list?

Nobody @wamx.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
That's what I meant by forced. Again, that may have been too strong, but still. But respectfully, I don't understand why it "doesn't make any sense" to have a "bundle" of core/system apps in the store that users can install if they choose to, and/or as part of the first boot onboarding

Nobody @wamx.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
"Forced" may have been too strong of a word. What I meant was bundled with the OS and not removable.

Nobody @wamx.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
Yes, I am running GrapheneOS right now. And no, none of them are removable, as any system app, you can only disable them.

I think it's an amazing solution for the vast majority of people using Google apps, but I've been "Google Free" for the better part of 10 years now and I'm not about to create an account and install Play Services just for RCS, that would be insane 😁

Nobody @wamx.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
What about a bundle like the "gapps" we used to flash separately on custom roms? Because I'm confident most people don't even use those apps and have dedicated ones tailored to their liking. Am I wrong?

Nobody @wamx.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
Please, oh please, don't force them onto us. I don't want to have two calendar apps, two music apps, two gallery apps, etc in my drawer... Will those apps come pre-installed, or just available from the store?

Nobody @wamx.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
So was I, but I didn't know RCS depended on Google Play Services...

"Cars are particularly problematic compared to phones [...] A smartphone owner can generally find and tweak their privacy settings" Are you serious, The Verge? No, smartphone owners can't generally do anything about data collection. Not "normie" users.

What a pathetic and narrow-minded way of letting everyone know you're an asshole. Why would that family not have the right to have a peaceful home? Let me guess, you can't make a buck so you hate everyone who does.
