Good old end of year performance results time: where the goals are made up and the results don't matter.

Never considered that there's a huge market for these, but I guess it makes sense. Probably not so much in the ability to skirt the price of an inspection as the ability to ignore any possibly expensive issues that are identified.

NFL should be ashamed of this. NFL on Christmas is basically a US family tradition and the NFL has gone all Scrooge in the name of money, leaving those w/o Netflix in the dark.

It's just one big train wreck and I couldn't stop watching, although most of it was pretty cringe. Glad that it is over as the last few seasons have really jumped the shark.

Awesome, can't wait for rural residents to complain about having to pay $10 to mail a postcard.

And unfortunately many people with weakened immune systems or unable to vaccinate will get caught up in the deaths.

My wife, a nurse coordinator for a clinic, laughed when she heard about it being the CEO of UHC and said how awful they are.

Actually forgot about my attempt until seeing this. Should try again sometime.

Absolutely drives me insane how parts of the Azure ecosystem, like Intune, will stop working one day and then magically is fixed a few days later. It's like I'm just being goaded into opening incidents.

Now would be a great time for Dems to push and keep pushing for true universal healthcare. (Years ago would have been great too, but here we are)

The disconnect I've seen between security teams and other teams in the organizations I've worked for throughout my career is always frustrating.

So are we collectively known as "skeeters" here? 🤔

Good way to shrink your customer base when many current owners now despise you and most of your followers hate EVs.

Blue checks have been making conversations impossible for some time. Post election I decided I've had enough.

Pretty easy to get a 4-5% CD, which will handily outpace inflation.

I'm sure going from the sport's biggest star, to being in Shiffrin's shadow, to a bunch of injuries, to retirement must have been tough. Not really sure what she thinks she'll accomplish by coming back, but I wish her the best.

As someone who trolled the shit out of my local politicians, getting blocked was annoying, but I get it. The blue checks were worse as they were basically paying to be the loudest a-holes.

As I've seen some of the newer folks wonder how Bluesky is going to handle verification, let me drop this here: How to use your domain as your Bluesky handle. As you can see, I have done it, and no one else here has access to my domain, so you can tell it's really me. bsky.social/about/blog/4...

I've shown people verifiable data that gas prices right now are cheaper than in 2018/2019 when adjusted for inflation and they don't care.

I'm not the most outgoing person, but I try to make an effort to smile and acknowledge people. Seems like most people just stare straight ahead or just briefly look with no acknowledgement.

Tried to tell my brother-in-law about the Dem plan to expand the child tax credit and include a newborn credit as well. His response was that Vance had the same plan and I just can't.
