A bunch of unfinished work from 2025 that got abandoned, stopped due to lack of motivation, or was simply too busy to continue during last year. honestly 2025 was a really small year for me art wise finished a couple things for friends here and there but otherwise lacking art wise. #ocsky #art

So, my brain thought of this idea while I was sitting tonight and just needed to draw it. I'm really not use to doing full bodies anymore I realize as well. #ocsky #art

So in the last Jumpchain session my Monday group had before we went on break for January, my character got really angry after getting out of a really hard mental trap by a monster and proceeded to pick up a 50ish foot hunk of tree he exploded and sweep it across a battlefield. #jumpchain #ocsky

The last batch of unfinished works from the last year to year and a half. there will be one more piece of art in the comment of this post but overall that kinda cleans out my shelf of unfinished work.

Some more unfinished of my jumpchain boyo, the cloaked one is more or less just a dropped drawing and the high perspective one I just ain't happy with overall the wind up I might come back to though. #jumpchain #ocsky

i still wish to try and get further in these as this next year continues so there is high likelihood i return to a lot of these. the only one being the exception is the weird lizard dragon one because it needs to be redrawn from the ground up honestly.

This character and or characters are all technically one person across different concepts or games. though i feel they all became there own version of him. regardless a bunch of unfinished works related to all the version of him. #ocsky #ffxiv #dnd

I think I would have stopped drawing and put away art for a very long time. as I just could barely get out of art block and without all of them I don't think I would have. and they are all wonderful for keeping me drawing in their own ways. if they knew they were or not.

or feeling like what I make is interesting to me and those that are close to me. If they hadn't encouraged me, dnd'd with me, talked characters with me for hours on end both dnd and otherwise. played the characters alongside me and talked about what I had drawn or had shared their passions with me.

so this year has been rough on my art side of my life, and I want to sit here and brag on the folks who kept me going kept me doodling they helped keep me encouraged through the year. I have extremely low self-esteem and struggle constantly with feeling like I'm improving.

In some ways I think the older image is better, on the other hand I see improvements in the newer that aren't in the older.

Wanted to redraw this image to see the difference roughly a year makes in how I draw March 2023, and December 2024

If we are actively fighting, we get asked if we are trying to endure the hit which uses body mods endurance, or dodge which typically uses body mods speed but can change depending on how we describe us attempting to dodge.

010

Walrus/wally/buck @wallybuck.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

it's a custom system made by the dm, we take body mod and use it as our stat bases for every point we have in our body mod we get a 1d6 dice to roll, 5,6 are considered successes and 1, 2 are considered fails depending on which we get more of it can have a good or bad outcome, or a neutral outcome.
