Ish! This really has been a terrible summer here. Spring came late and two weeks ago we had a tornado miss our house by 100 yards. Then the heat came. 100° for 3 days in a row. Now we can't go outside because of the fires burning in the BWCA. This is not normal for Northern MN.

I think Mother nature is a little pissed off about the congressional resolution and presidential action overturning a 20-year federal mining ban near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. It's very hot and windy here and these fires are growing at a very fast pace.

I am seeing about 20 posts a day similar to this. I have not clicked on it because usually, the accounts are new, with only a handful of followers. It also looks a lot like a spam post. Either the bots are out in full force, or I was added to a starter pack of bots. 🤷‍♀️

I can hear the thunder starting to rumble. Please, please, please let this bring enough rain and no lightening. We are about 10 miles from one of the fires here in Minnesota. We also just got a notification of a new fire that is also too close for comfort.
