I also cook (reheat) my baked beans in a pot on the stove so that the sauce thickens. Technique makes the difference in cooking. And yes ... the eggs (mostly) suck in the US. When you are logistically feeding 340M people vs 70M, sometimes getting a fresh fresh egg is a challenge.

I've done that too. If I need to buy eggs at Walmart, I'll get the jumbo eggs and do the sieve trick to get rid of the watery stuff. Their eggs are OK, but never "fresh" (ok for omelette, scrambled, etc). Local supermarket has a good turnover so the eggs are better and don't need to sieve.

True. This isn't about taste. It's about firming the white so you don't need to do the whirlpool. You get a better shaped egg, and can cook multiple eggs in the same pan at the same time and pull them at the same time with a consistent level of doneness.

The vinegar (plus some salt) causes the white to contract closer to the yolk. The simmer means the egg isn't being heavily agitated. For a fresh, extra large egg it will be soft poached in about 4min. If the white is too loose, give it an extra 30s, but keep an eye on it.

Installed a #mercylion dashcam today. It’s one of those stealth units that look oem - so you wouldn’t know its there. If I’d just done the forward facing camera it would have been installed in under 30min. Because I added gps and a rear camera it took closer to 2hrs. Looks good, great 4k resolution.

I unboxed everything because I ordered extra accessories and they weren't in the "shipping" box, but I found them in the shrink-wrapped internal box. I boxed everything back up, and will do an unboxing video, an installation video, and an initial/one month later product review.

I received a package I ordered. It came in a sealed delivery box. Inside that box was another box. The box was shrink wrapped. Inside that box was a plastic bag that contained a card. Reading that card they tell you that they will give you a reimbursement for ... an unboxing video. Too late.
