Sing, draw, create, protest, help one-another, do the right thing by others, take a breath or 5. This is our country too. We live here.

I really enjoyed this book. Beautiful writing and honest questions asked about women as they expand themselves and are met with what society will define them to be or not be. Set after the 2nd WW in the Pacific NW

💙📚🎧 All good books. I listened to Lakewood. It reminded me of Ray Bradbury. Anita De Monte Laughs Last was good AND it was based on an real life Cuban feminist artist who was killed by her husband. Wish the author had acknowledged this, that the story was written about her,she just changed her name

💙📚🎧 What are some good autobooks read by people you've liked? I am really picky about the voice, I will stop listening to it if I don't like it. I like most any genre. Latest ones I have enjoyed are

Shehan Karunatilaka's The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida

💙📚👀🩸#currentlyreading A tale of revenge like no other. This book is gorgeous BTW. Under the paper cover the book is all black with a blood red spine. It gives atmosphere to every page you turn and a heightened sensory experience along with a story, inside a story inside a story...

The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephan Graham Jones. Book cover of the side view of a Buffalo's head with snow on his snout, blue eyes and molting horns. The title in red lettering sits across the face of the Buffalo against a beige background.
