#Welsh author Peter Freeman wrote the lyrics and Kathy Fisher vocalised the song, which tied in with the #Halo franchise's themes. References were made to the Welsh Otherworld of Annwn, and the cheating of “dihenydd” – a Welsh term for “death”.

There is an enemy in #Xenoblade Chronicles called the Wallslide Gwynry, which can be found in the Mag Mell Ruins of Tephra Cave. “Gwynry” has similarities to #Cymraeg, with gwyn being the #Welsh word for “white, fair, blessed”.

The real-life Sker House, near Porthcawl, made famous by R.D. Blackmore's novel "The Maid of Sker", inspired the game's setting and events, which takes place in the Sker Hotel on the fictional Sker Island in #Wales.
