They still do, at least Nintendo of America does. If you watch a UK Nintendo Direct you'll see that they just say "game" instead of "the [game] game" like in the US. Which means that they make the narrator record two versions of the same line every time he mentions the name of a Nintendo game.

Since it's map 0, that's probably the default value being used for a level transition with no data. Presumably, dying reloads the state of the level in some way with the correct data, which is why that avoids the glitch. Can't know for sure without seeing the code though.

None that I can find. Sources list this as a wrong-warp glitch that sends you to the unused level, which is numbered as map 0 in the files. Armchair programming says that, for whatever reason, doing these steps causes the final level transition to initialise wrongly.

That kind of Bildungsroman story pattern can of course fit a trans narrative, just as it fits other queer narratives, or narratives of self-discovery. It's not outlandish to get the sense that something *might* be there. But a lot of the time, the evidence for it gets stretched into more than it is.

It just feels to me that, for the moment, "game menu which has innately 4th-wall omnipotent knowledge" should be understood as the canon state of Ralsei's gender presentation, instead of "guy who just met Ralsei for the first time and can barely see him".

Strictly speaking, Asgore has barely gotten a good look at Ralsei, at all, and the character is already pretty GNC to begin with. He can't even really conclusively say Ralsei looks like a monster, and his secondary text says Ralsei doesn't need to "hide themself", indicating he's STILL kinda hiding.

Asgore uses "they", yes, but it's pretty clear that it's coming from unfamiliarity rather than gender presentation. Ralsei has spent the *entire* chapter avoiding him, jumping into bushes and hurriedly putting on a hat that he clearly hates wearing almost every time Asgore shows up.

The drink voucher scene *can* be shortly before this, but it's entirely dependent on which path the player takes initially when entering the castle foyer, and either way there's a whole other thing going on with the flowers and Asgore first.

Toby Fox initially thought of "Lost Girl" as a Noelle-only motif, but later said it was "the kind of song that gets used repeatedly around the game", indicating its status as a "we're doing an emotional scene now" track. But Kris is NB *and* is kinda the PoV character, precluding them from this.

This is kind of the thing though. The first bullet point here is technically true but only by dint of a lack of characters to otherwise have a suitable scene. The only definitively male character who otherwise gets a serious scene like this is Berdly in Chapter 2, and he already has his own theme.

the change is in the "power" menu, which includes descriptions of the characters after climbing on the giant vine, Ralsei and Susie's titles both change to "Dark Vine", and Ralsei gets the description "watering their own thorns"

Where Water Flow, with total free movement, feels like it's intended to be what a first-timer learns a fight with by giving weaker-but-easy detonations, before moving up to using Full Control as you find the exact windows that let you hit 5-Qi detonations.

With the way fights like Eigong are built, it really almost seems like the developers did not construct many bosses to be beaten by pressing the attack button almost at all. That was a messy sentence but hopefully the point stands.
