This is an evolving situation because a bit ago I didn't fully realize/remember that I wanted that so long ago. But anyway, I'm here now, I'm transitioning, things are good.

Eventually I hit a point where I had destroyed so much of my social life for reasons I couldn't even understand myself that whatever trauma had been holding back my identity shattered. Now, I'm happy in a way that I never knew I could be.

I could make this very long and depressing but I'll keep it to two posts: I wanted to be a girl when I was 8 years old. Circumstances and people forced me to abandon that thought as "impossible." I had various ineffective methods of coping causing a lot of social and academic problems.

I am deeply ashamed of the cowardice of my state in this. Trans kids in Michigan deserve better. Worse still is how quietly they're doing this. If you're going to capitulate to this eliminationest garbage at least have the decency to face us.

i've been using gnu/linux for over a decade, while certain games not working on it are an issue with the developers of the game not the OSes themselves at this point, being unfortunately vendor locked is a valid issue. Windows 11 LTSC.
