The Wandering Inn by Pirateaba is a fantastic book series that has captured my attention. I got into them from their audiobooks then learned about their ongoing work from their website. They just recently had the first book of the series published on paperback too.

which caused many rolls to happen on the vehicle mishap table. The enemy ship’s engine to blow out in the middle of the desert, and it had to roll on the mishap table again. The bandit ship then caught on fire, turning the standard rescue mission into a fire rescue mission…

My players were loaned a sand ship so they could peruse a bandit captain that just abducted members of the town they were protecting. They eventually caught up with the enemy ship after they exchanged cannon fire. The players plan to board the enemy ship was to ram it with their ship,
