This week's species to meet for #waderwednesday is the Egyptian Plover. They are a mainly sedentary species found across Sub-Saharan Africa, and only a rare vagrant to Egypt! They were also thought to have a symbiotic relationship with crocodiles, whom they shared the riverbanks with.
