Mako in fun house looking in thr mirror. The reflection shows an alertnate version of himself wearing shortalls and a diaper. Back home in his bathroom his reflection from the fun house has followed him, now showing an image of him in striped pajamas with an oversized pacifier. Much later mako is outside and in the reflection of a shop window he sees himself in a pink onesie. Slowly he becomes infatuated with the reflection and begins to act in a babyish manner almlst bringing his thumb to his mouth.

The final image mako has fully embraced the image in his reflection and has now matched in perfectly. He stands in front of the mirror sucking his tumb in just a t-shirt and diaper.

Original art piece idea by @mIdrux on Twitter, but I and others were disappointed they drew it with mean-spirited intentions.. even calling the kidfur character a "diddyblud" (yes. verbatim) and getting wrapped up in "proship discourse." I thought the message was too human to let it be diluted + overshadowed by typical online whataboutisms and wanted to redo + reclaim it with more touches of the furry fandom, esp being a furry myself. It's love. For some, the love of your life is in the corner of a boring furcon panel room -- even if they don't have the same "interests," it's care that bridges the gap.
